So it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything; it’s mostly been for good reason… And that’s because I’ve been pretty busy… No matter though, I’m back at it… Outside of writing about photography, Homme of the Nothing is really just a space for things that are… like… Dope... I guess.
That being said, lemme share some of this dopeness with you… If you’re in the Tokyo area, and you like the outdoors, don’t mind sleeping on the ground, smellin’ burnt, and roughin’ it alongside nature… You should go to Mt. Fuji and camp beneath this epic blanket of stars.
Let me tell you, it’s good for the soul! Get out there and decompress, thank me, or hate me later… Even if you don't enjoy yourself during the actual "camping" aspect, go grab a "Moose Hills Burger" (google it), that alone should make up for the trip if you're a hater and don't like dope things.
So anyway, yeah, nature, fire, fresh air… It can all be extremely therapeutic! If you’re anything like me; a worry wort-ass, stressed out-ass, mere-cat lookin-ass, workaholic (for the record, I don’t actually think I look like a Merecat, but someone told me I did once, so it's sustained I guess) you'll return to your stressful ass life with renewed convictions and motivation. I can't say how long it'll last but, hey, you'll have enjoyed the time spent, it's relatively cheap (once you get there), and the views are absolutely breath-taking. You can make a nice day trip out of it, get some extra-epic pictures, meet some people… Drink without being judged (not that people do that in Japan anyway), and literally bbq all day. Camping in Japan, is seriously, like… A giant FOOD FEST… All you do is eat, drink, eat some more, and eat again, drink some more, and eat some more… ALL DAY…
Who doesn’t like that?
Anyway, go… It’s extra dope.
